Frequently Asked Questions
What is the OBBBA?
The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) is federal legislation that allows employees in tipped occupations to claim tax deductions for qualified tips (up to $25,000/year) and overtime pay (up to $12,500/year).
Who qualifies for these deductions?
Employees who work in one of the 68 Treasury Tipped Occupation Codes (TTOCs) qualify for tip deductions. This includes servers, bartenders, bellhops, valets, taxi drivers, stylists, and more. Overtime deductions apply to non-exempt employees.
How do I export W-2 data?
Go to Reports → W-2 Box 14 Export, select the tax year, and download the CSV file. This file is compatible with ADP, Gusto, QuickBooks, Paychex, and most other payroll systems.
